Belonging- Creatives Institute Exhibition 2025

Warwick University Campus

Provisionally from 27 October- 2 November 2025

What does it mean to belong? In our society, more individualistic and commercial than ever, belonging, both to a community and an identity seem further away than ever. In the United Kingdom, our history of discrimination means for those who are not part of the assumed majority, this struggle is amplified. Facing stigma, stereotypes and even abuse, minority communities’ stories, identities and histories have long been ignored and assimilated into the fabric of our culture. This exhibition seeks to give a platform to those exploring this theme, regardless of their background and practice. The University of Warwick’s rich diversity and status as a global centre for cultural learning enables a broad conversation on what we as individuals and citizens can do to make our reality one in which different cultures and communities can thrive together, in an environment removed from the stigmas of the past. Submit your work here, and we’ll be in touch!
