About Us

A social enterprise dedicated to making art accessible and impactful through innovative exhibitions, events & programmes.

Our Story

We were established in 2025 to platform new & impactful artists, ideas, music and events at the University of Warwick by a group of diverse and creative students.

This came together in the form of our Belonging project, a five-day programme involving exhibitions, speaker events, music, and a magazine. This programme was a formative experience for all of us, and provided the blueprint for the work we do in future. By bridging different mediums of creativity, art, and ideas, we created a programme that was both accessible and impactful to as many people as possible, and we brought in over 1000 visits in person, and millions of engagements online.

We were delighted to win Warwick Enterprise’s Lord Rootes Fund to support the programme and to be highly commended by the Warwick Institute of Engagement for its long-lasting impact.

Creative Director- Raphael Roy Taylor

All of my life, I've been deeply interested in and engaged by art, design, and architecture.

I founded the Creatives Institute to turn these passions into action.

The experience saw me curate, design and organise all aspects of the Belonging programme - from working with participating artists, musicians and speakers to designing an exhibition space within a contemporary structure and building a website, social media and PR presence from scratch.

Furthermore, I've worked with several significant arts institutions to create impactful programmes- from the National Trust to Compton Verney and MAC, Birmingham.

Whilst at the University of Warwick studying History and Politics, I took the opportunity to specialise in the Histories, Theories and Practices of Museums and Galleries, leading to a dissertation on the relationship between architecture, art, and exhibition design that received a First Class.

Now, I’m studying an MA in Art History, Curatorship, and Renaissance Culture at the Warburg Institute and the National Gallery.
